Alice M. Moore, age 96, of Morristown, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Dewitt Place. She was a member of Island Home Baptist Church. She was a graduate of The University of Tennessee, former Knox City School Teacher, and retired from U.T. Department of Alumni Affairs. She was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Pi Lambda Theta Honorary Fraternities. She was preceded in death by her parents, E.S. and Rosa Mae Moore; and sister, Isabel Haynes. She is survived by nephew, David Haynes; and several other great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11am – 12 pm on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12 pm Monday with Pastor Dwight Jenkins officiating. Private graveside services will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Knoxville.
