Barney L. Pearson, age 80, of Morristown, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a member and deacon at Grace Baptist Church and was a retired millwright at BASF. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Quinton Pearson and Kenneth Pearson. He is survived by his wife, Sondra Pearson; daughter, Sharon (Michael) Martin; grandchildren, Ashley Quinton and Emily (Ryan) Martin-Shuler; and great-grandchild, Delaney Quinton. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, September 26 at Grace Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. at the church with Rev. James Williams officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 27 at Shepherd’s Cemetery in Bulls Gap for graveside services.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
