Billy Dan Saylor, age 73, of Morristown, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 14, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loyd and Retha Brock Saylor; brothers, Chester Saylor, Franklin D. Saylor, Alva Saylor, and Granville Saylor; and sister, Mildred Abecrombie. He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Arlene Saylor; daughters, Tammy Owen of Johnson City, Monica Smith of Knoxville, and Billianne (Kyle) Donnelly of Knoxville; grandchildren, Anthony Musto and Weston Donnelly; brothers, Henry Saylor of Mason, Ohio, R.S. Saylor of Waynesboro, Virginia, Loyd Saylor, Jr. of Talbott and Donnie W. Saylor of Russellville, Alabama; and sisters, Ruby Ramsey of Rose Hill, Virginia, Alice Faye Delph of Lafayette, Indiana, and Betty Saylor Stovall of Oak Ridge, North Carolina. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Friday, August 18 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev.
