Bonnie Ruth Lewis Watkins, age 90, of Talbott, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family after a lingering illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil V. Watkins; son, David W. Watkins; son-in-law, David M. Jones; grandson, G. Devin Watkins; parents, Clifford and Bonnie Lewis; father and mother-in-law, Joe, Sr. and Betty Watkins; one brother; two sisters; four brothers-in-law; and one sister-in-law. She is survived by her children, James C. (Mila) Watkins, Donna W. (Lynn) Archer, and Dorothy Jones; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister; two brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 14 at Panther Springs United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church with Rev. Kristen Burkhart officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 15 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Panther Springs United Methodist Church.   Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
