Carolyn “June” Roberts, age 69, born January 24, 1948, a life-time resident of Morristown, departed this life to be reunited with her beloved daughter, Missy and her Lord on Friday, July 14, 2017. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Morristown. She served our community many years as a waitress in our favorite down home restaurants and diners. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Earl and Katherine Rines; daughter, Katherine “Missy” Nicley; sisters, Shirley Gallion, Judy (Jimmy) Sperry, Sandra Kaye Dotson, and Darlene (Larry) Claiborn. She is survived by her daughters, Tonya Huff of Morristown, Sharon (Tony) Sullinger of Knoxville, Karen (Bruce) Kesterson of White Pine, Daphne (Ronnie) Rogers of New Market, and Jennifer (Eric) Lousinger; sons, Ricky Nicley of Morristown and Jason (Christine) Nicley; sister, Patricia (Dean) Greene of Morristown; grandchildren, Erica Davis, Roger Miller, Holly Talton, Heather Beck, Jacque Vaughn, Derby Lewis, Sarah Myers, Dylan Barnes, David Miller, Carrie Nicley, Austin Nicley, and Madison Nicley; great-grandchildren, Zach, Kayleigh, Emily, Makenzie, Malieha, Marlee, Lillian, Easton, Colton, Charlie, Grayson, Christopher, Kylea, Miyah, Olivia, Zaelynn, Damion, Mikaella, Alissa, and William; father of her children, Cecil Wayne Nicley; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday, July 16 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. John Ricketts officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 17 at Jarnagin Cemetery. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
