Charles Ray Farrow, age 89, of White Pine, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a member of White Oak Grove Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II. He loved gardening and taking care of his lawn, and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie Farrow; parents, Frank and Minnie Bell Farrow; and sisters, Dorothy and Thelma. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Farrow; sons, Steven Farrow of White Pine and Jeffrey (Amy) Farrow of Georgia; brother, Earl (Jennie) Farrow; sister, Margaret Emert; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12 – 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 26 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Devault officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with military honors. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
