Charles E. Watson

Charles E. Watson, age 87, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 20, 2018 at his residence. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and had a heart for helping and ministering to others. He love to collect old cars and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clabe and Bernice Watson; sons, Mike Watson and Jim Watson; and brothers, Earl (Evelyn) Watson and Gerald Watson. He is survived by his wife of almost seventy years, Audrey Watson; daughters, Shirley (Hartsell) McCurry, Vicki (James) Tullock, and Lori Manis; daughter-in-law, Shelby Watson; grandchildren, Ford McCurry, Rebecca (Keith) Atkins, Kari (Gunter) Wambaugh, Jonathan Tullock, Jessica Collins, Blake Watson, Daniel Manis, and Juliana Manis; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Betty Sue Watson; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, April 23 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Mike Henager and Jonathan Tullock officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 24 at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
