Christopher “Chris” Alan Lawson, age 46, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016. He was a member of Watkin’s Chapel Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, A.B. and Delia Patty and Frank and Bevia Lawson; and step-father, C.E. Reneau. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Kelsea Lawson of Johnson City; mother, Donna Gail Reneau; father and step-mother, Ralph and Judy Lawson, all of Morristown; sisters, Karen Lawson Slagle, Penny Sherrod, Charlene Roach, Marianne Reneau-Reece, and Courtney Lawson; and special friend, Gretchen Graham. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Friday, September 16 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Fred Lehrer officiating.
