Cora Elizabeth “Lib”Cox, age 93, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Way of the Cross Church in White Pine and was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved going to the Senior Citizens Center and loved cross-stitching. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howell Cox; parents, Edgar and Lusty Cameron; children, Leonard Cox, Mattie Jane McFalls, and Wendell Cox; brothers, Edward Cameron and J.M. Cameron; and sister, Thelma White. She is survived by her son, Ervin Cox of Jefferson City; daughters, Faye (Max) Hartman of Jefferson City, Joan Hubbard of Dandridge, and Della Haynes of Jefferson City; sister, Anna Mae McGill; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and several special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, October 12 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Bryan Carpenter, Rev. Horace Green, and Brother Wendell Cox officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, October 13 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
