Curtis L. French, age 69, of Talbott, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at his residence after a brief illness with brain cancer. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Morristown, retired from Crawford and Company, and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his father, Mose French. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Pat French; daughter, Lisa (Kelby) Loden of Collierville; mother, Mildred French; grandchildren, Luke Loden and Alyssa Loden; aunt, Marie Hill; and several cousins, friends, and church family. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, January 20 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Lonnie Dalton and Rev. Danny Georges officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 21 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for graveside services.
