Dallas Zane Walker, Sr., age 74, of Whitesburg, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 at Serenity Hospice Home. He was a member of Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Mary Walker; and brother, J.D. Walker. He is survived by his wife, Georgia Walker; son, Dallas, Jr. (Jonna) Walker; daughter, Tammy (Lynn) Coffey; grandsons, Justin, Brandon, Cody, “Little” Lynn, and Zane; granddaughters, Stefani, Tiffany, and Kimberly; great-grandchildren, Lillian, Xavier, Kayden, Carson, Keeley, Macie, Silas, and Ryder; brothers, Lee (Mary) Walker, Larry (Patsy) Walker, and Arlon (Doris) Walker; sister-in-law, Judy Walker; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, October 1 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, October 2 at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James Cline and Rev. Donald Swatzell officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Union Grove Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
