Dixie Ann Kite, age 79, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at her residence. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a loving mother and grandmother and had a passion for playing Bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kite; parents, Walt and Delta Chidester; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Pauline Pusey, Steve Kite, and Mike (Tonia) Kite; grandchildren, Cheri Johnson, Shawnna Stout, Jennifer Kite, Bernie Herman, Tara Kite, and Candice Kite; and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, October 21 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Bishop Carl Minanmi officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 22 at Kite Cemetery in Rogersville for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
