Dorcas Ann Calfee Noe, age 82, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 after a brief illness. She was currently a member of The Avenue Church and previously attended Russellville Church of God and Morristown Church of God. She served as church secretary for many years, worked alongside her husband at Newport Precision Tool, and ran her own beauty shop business. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly sixty years, Robert “Bob” Noe; parents, Hilda Hargis and Elbert Calfee; brother, Darwin Calfee; daughter-in-law, Teresa Huff Noe; grandson, Ryan Noe; and special friend, Mr. Wilborn “W.C.” Compton. She is survived by her sons, Rich (Donna) and Greg (Jessica) Noe; grandchildren, Adam (Jessica), Matthew (Julia), Jordan (Lisa), and Megan; great-grandchildren, Anderson, Jonas, Hensley, and Jaxon; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff at Dewitt Place for their compassionate care for the past five years, the Avalon Hospice nurses, and Dr. Gupta and staff. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Justin Graham officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 7 at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
