Elizabeth Ann (Spoon) Johnson

Elizabeth Ann Johnson, age 75, of Morristown, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 16, 2018 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, O.C. and Mary Agnes Spoon; sister, Faye Rich; and brother, Bobby Spoon. She is survived by her husband, Don Johnson; daughter, Karen Mewhinney; special grandson, John Allen Paxton; sister, Judy Mayes; brothers, Jerry Spoon, Jack Spoon, and Frank Spoon; special niece, Stephanie Combs; and several loving nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 18 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 19 at Bear Creek Baptist Church in Cocke County. The body will lie in state thirty minutes prior to the service. Interment will follow at Bear Creek Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
