Gordon Armand Hipshire, age 81, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the House of Prayer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Mossie Hipshire; and daughter, Tracy Gail Hipshire. He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Debra Ann Hipshire; son, Mike Hipshire; brother, Bruce Hipshire; brothers-in-law, Michael Wright and Richard Wright; sister-in-law, Patricia Kimbrough; nephews, Stacy (Nicki) Kimbrough, Mark (Stephanie) Kimbrough, and Kevin (Sarah) Kimbrough; great-niece, Haley Kimbrough; and great-nephew, Chandler Kimbrough. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, April 28 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Joe Devotie officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 29 at Sunderland Cemetery for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
