Hunley Ernest Kirk, age 78, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 at his residence. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Alta Kirk; sons, Michael Dean Kirk and Jeffery Scott Kirk; and brother, Johnny Leland Kirk. He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Betty Kirk; son, Johnny Ray (Carmen) Kirk; grandchildren, Crystal (Chaz Hester), Kelsi, Michelle, Jamie, and Rachel Kirk; and great-grandchildren, Kiauna, Chazton, Zachary, and Laylah. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 6 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 7 at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
