Joe E. Smith, age 81, of Morristown, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at Life Care of Morristown. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Smith; and son, Jimmy C. Smith. He is survived by his children, Cathy Sills of Frankfort, Kentucky, Timmy L. Smith of Morristown, Bobby E. (Annette) Smith of Morristown, Gregory S. Smith of Gray, Chasity Smith of Kingsport, and Jason A. (April) Smith of Morristown; grandchildren, Misty, Rashele, Melinda, Ashlee, Paige, Kelsey, Brittney, and Shannon; and great-grandchildren, Joshua, Brandon, Alexandra, Kaden, Beth, Silas, Jude, Aaron, Makayla, Olivia, Liam, and Blayklee. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday, August25 at Jarnagin Cemetery for graveside services with Rev. Tim Jones officiating. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
