Katherine Viola Lamb Cluck, age 85, of the Alpha Community in Morristown, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was a true Proverbs 31 woman and her family arose and called her blessed. Viola was born on August 4, 1931 in Greeneville, TN to Rev. Minnis and Gussie Lamb who preceded her in death. Viola was a charter member of Manley Baptist Church where she started teaching Sunday School in 1964 and taught until her health no longer permitted her to do so. She was a member of the Hamblen Chapter of the Eastern Star Order 31 and part owner of Curlee Candy Company. She was an avid reader of God’s Word. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Paul (Marie) and Harold (Juanita) Lamb. She leaves behind her loving husband of sixty-three years, Charles Morgan Cluck; children, Charles Lynn Cluck and Elizabeth “Libby” Ramsey; the joy of her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Brandon (Elisha), Adyson, and Lynzie Ramsey, Tiffany (Devin), Hayden, Hunter, Kinsley, and Brooklyn Barnes, Angela (Josh), Malachi, and Emalee Akard, and Jonathan (Michele), Nathan, Brayden, Jaxson, and Ashton Ramsey; beloved brothers, Hugh (Jean), Billy (Judy), and Ralph (Nila) Lamb; special nieces, Kitty Coffey and Betty Miller; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 31 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Alan Duncan officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 1 at Jarnagin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Viola’s wishes were to donate to Manley Baptist Church building fund or Saint Jude’s Children Hospital. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
