Katrina LeAnn West, age 45, of Talbott, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Mansfield Gap Baptist Church and was an amazing woman, mother, daughter, and friend. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Duane “Hogg” West; grandparents, Leonard Wells, Roberta Goforth, and Clifford and Mary Ruth West. She is survived by her parents, Jerry and Ann West; brother, Scott (Robin) West; daughters, Jessica Dale Purkey and Shelby (Corey) Chambers; grandchildren, Mila Lynn Chambers and Aiden Allen Chambers; niece, Shayla Roxanne West; nephew, Zachary Scott West; special friend and companion, Wayne Wallen; and her baby dog, “Boo Boo.” Special thanks to Aunt, Jimmie. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 18 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Greg Lindsey officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 19 at Community Chapel Freewill Baptist Church cemetery in Talbott. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
