Larry G. Sheppard, age 65, of Thorn Hill, born August 26, 1952, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Florida but his dream was to live in the mountains of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Sheppard. He is survived by his wife, Janet Sheppard; sons, Chris Sheppard and Mat Sheppard; daughter, Cierra Sheppard; mother, Dorothy Sheppard; step-daughter, Lisa Sanchez; brother, David Sheppard; sisters, Diane Bailey and Darlene Ohlig; and he was the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren, Kristen, Hannah, Emily, Taylor, Jonathan, Adriana, Malia, and Lauren. The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. Thursday, October 12 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Tim Jones officiating. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
