Laura (Deans) Stroud

Laura Deans Stroud, age 68, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was a member of Buffalo Trail Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Deans; brothers, Jack Roger Bains, Charles Edward Deans, and Mark Clayton Deans; and step-daughter, Tammy Stroud. She is survived by her husband of forty-one years, Wayne Stroud; son, Robert Scott Williams; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Williams; step-daughters, Angie (Kevin) Shipley and Candy Kiehna; grandchildren, Scarlet, Nichols, Adrienne, Angelica, Larissa, and Chellsey Williams; step-grandchildren, Henry, Kyra, and Maggie Kiehna and Zachary and Lindsey Palmer; great-grandchild, Trenton Wright; and sisters, Lennie Deans Anderson and Betty Harris. The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 p.m. Sunday, January 28 at Buffalo Trail Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. Sunday at the church with Dr. Keith Mowery officiating.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
