Lora M. Sams Kiker, age 85, of Greeneville, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Durham Hensley Healthcare in Chucky, TN. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Kiker; parents, Craty and Mary Jane Sams; brothers, Chester Sams and Doyle Sams; and sisters, Betty Price and Annie Sams. She is survived by her son, Jay (Jane) Kiker; brother, Harold (Marilyn) Sams; sisters, Ellen Wells and Peggy (Ralph) Shelton; special niece, Hope (Steve) Reynolds; special neighbors, Norman and Mable Patterson and Norman, Jr. and his wife; special caregivers, Ella Mae Dishner and Vanessa Schuck; special dog, “Tasha;” and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, June 9 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Dr. Larry Parrott officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 10 at Sunderland Cemetery for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
