Melissa “Lisa” Clevenger, age 54, of Talbott, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at her residence. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Clevenger; daughter, Ashlei (Alex) Puckett of Portage, Indiana; son, Shawn Wilson of Talbott; mother, Katie (Jere) Brown of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Isiah Kinsler, Will Puckett, Max Puckett, Ariel Puckett, and Alexia Riley; brother, Dale (Mindy) Cline of Missouri; sisters, Cindy Lawrence and Kathy (Dan) Halcom, both of Missouri; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. No services will be scheduled. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the American Cancer Society. “It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. A part of us went with you, the day God took you home. If tears could build a stairway, and heartaches make a lane, we’d walk our way to heaven, and bring you back again. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still, in our hearts you hold a place, no one could ever fill. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
