Michael Lynn Helton

Michael Lynn Helton, age 71, of Mohawk, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital in Greeneville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Faye Helton; parents, Herman and Laura Belle Helton; brothers, Robert Helton and Sanford Helton; sisters, Jeanette Helton and Melissa Helton; and great-grandchild, Kayden Targe Fontanie. He is survived by his sons, Michael Helton and Jeff Helton; daughter, Laura Campbell; grandchildren, Casey Matthews and Jessica Masengill; great-grandchildren, Abigail Wallace and Brayden Masengill; brothers, Terry Helton, Daniel Helton, Orville Helton, Mickey Helton, and Eddie Helton; and sisters, Barbara Hopkins, Laura Jinks, and Regina Crigger. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday, March 3 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 4 at the funeral home with Rev. Jack Greene officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Mohawk. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
