Michael “Mike” Wayne Harrington, age 72, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at his residence. He was a member of Morristown Baptist Tabernacle and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Ann Harrington; parents, John and Hildreth Harrington; and brother, John Richard Harrington. He is survived by his brother, David Harrington; nephews, Nathan and D.J. Harrington; step-niece, Kayla Renee Linville; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Diane Shepard; great-niece, Shannen Jones; and friend, Danny Burchfield. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, January 11 at Morristown Baptist Tabernacle. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Thursday at the church with Rev. Doug Benton and Rev. Chris Hazelwood officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Friday, January 12 at Jarnagin Cemetery for military graveside services with V.F.W. Post 5266 officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Morristown Baptist Tabernacle.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
