Owen “Blane” Hale, age 58, of Morristown, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Parkwest Hospital in Knoxville. He was a member of Witt Baptist Church, was employed at MAHLE for over thirty years, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ada and Sam Hale and Dana and Grace Morgan; and uncle, Adrian Hale. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia “Diane” Hale; mother, Wanda (Homer) Harrell; father, O.B. (Barbara) Hale; sister, Angela Hale Stickley (Jim T. Eldridge); special niece and nephew, Morgan and Taylor Stickley; forever pets, Blackie and Rowdy; and he was loved by many special friends, co-workers, and church family. The family will receive friends from 1 – 3 p.m. Sunday, February 11 at Witt Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. Sunday at the church with Dr. Doug Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Jarnagin Cemetery. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
