Paul Tripucka, age 89, of Morristown, born on February 20, 1929, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 15, 2018. He grew up in Maywood, New Jersey. After high school, he served in the U.S. Navy and after being honorably discharged, he attended and graduated from Leigh High University with a B.S. in Mining Engineering. He retired from the New Jersey Zinc Company as manager and also worked at the State of Tennessee. He attended Indian Ridge Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ann Tripucka; brother, John Tripucka; and late wife, Maxine Brewer Tripucka. He is survived by his sons, P.J. Tripucka and wife, Missy, and David Tripucka and wife, Paulena; daughter, Susan Snypes and husband, Tony; step-son, Rodney Brewer and wife, Janice; grandchildren, Noah Tripucka, Caleb Tripucka, Sarah Tripucka, Emily Snypes, Taylor Snypes, Jana Lewis, and Wesley Brewer; three great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Brewer, Juanita Wear, and Olga Tripucka; fiancé, Marilyn Ramsey; special neighbor and friend, John Fassler; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 17 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Gary Satterfield officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 18 at Brewer-Greene Cemetery in Hancock County. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sloan Kettering Memorial, Indian Ridge Baptist Church, Cool Branch Baptist Church, or Calvue Baptist Church.
