Rev. Jack Lee Brotherton, Sr., age 58, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017. Jack was a loving husband, dad, papaw, and brother. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Jack was a faithful member and an adult Sunday School teacher at Straight Gospel Baptist Church in Talbott. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Hester Brotherton; and son, Brandon Thomas Brotherton. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of forty-one years, Sherry L. Brotherton; children, Jackie, Jr. (Amber) Brotherton and Maranda (David) Gulley; grandchildren, Tony Brotherton, Chris Gulley, Corey Gulley, Hannah Gulley, Jason “J.J.” Cook, Aydein Brotherton, Jalyn Brotherton, and Kaley Cook; brothers, Billy (Cathy) Brotherton and Buddy Brotherton; sisters, Brenda  Brotherton, Cloebell Haynes, and Judy (Michael) Hedrick; brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny (Diane) Johnson, Donnie (Brenda) Johnson, Dennis (Rhonda) Johnson, and Tonya (Travis) Whitaker;and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, August 6 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Rodney Cobble officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, August 7 at Choptack Cemetery in Mooresburg.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
