Richard “Ricky” Dean Trent, age 61, of Bulls Gap, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Fern Wilder Trent; sister, Cynthia Trent; brother, Krenzi Dale Trent; step mother, Georgia Lee Long Trent; He is survived by father, Elmer Dale Trent; sisters, Patricia(Gerald) Winstead of South Carolina., Sheila Dalton of Thorn Hill, Sandra (Johnny) Dalton of Mohawk;  brothers, Roger Dale Trent, Robert Lynn Trent both of Morristown;  step brother, Carl Lewis (Grace) Long of Russellville; close friends, Starr Keith and Debra Carmack; also several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other close friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Westside Chapel Funeral home. Funeral services will follow at 8 pm with Rev. Roger Trent officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1 pm on Tuesday, December 19th  for graveside services at Otis Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Dalton Jr., Gregory Dalton, Jay Dalton, Joshua Kent, Jeremy Kent, and Gerald Winstead. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
