Robert "Bob" Dale Jenkins

Mr. Robert “Bob” Dale Jenkins, went to be with the Lord after a brief illness surrounded by family and loved ones on August 29th, 2017 in Baltimore, Maryland at the age of 51. Robert was born on December 27th, 1965 in York, Pennsylvania to James & Lillian Jenkins. He graduated from Harford Christian School in 1983. He spent most of his life in ministry as a music minister at Talbot Baptist Church, Keystone Heights Baptist Church, and Morningside Baptist Church. He was also a vocalist/steel guitarist for such artists as The Nottingham Four, The Supernals, Won by One, Cross4Crowns, Justin Terry, JourneyOn, as well as a soloist. Alongside his ministries, he also worked as an IT Manager for Holston Gases and an Estimator for Wild Building Contractors and H20 Pruf, inc. Meeting him in heaven are his wife, Shirley Ann Jenkins; his father, James Bryant Jenkins, Jr.; his mother, Lillian Duvall Jenkins; and his brother, David Jenkins. He is survived by his wife, Carol Dearing Brooks Jenkins; his son, Joshua Robert Jenkins; his brothers, James (Carol) Jenkins III, Patrick Jenkins, Keith (Charlene) Jenkins, Gary (Carol) Jenkins, William (Kimberley) Jenkins, and Steve Jenkins; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4 - 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 5 at First Baptist Church of Morristown. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 6th at Jarnagin Cemetery.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
