Ronald "Ron" Eugene Russell

Ronald “Ron” Russell, age 62, of Talbott, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church in Knoxville. Ron loved Jesus, life, and his family. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart. He is survived by his wife, Gail Russell; daughter, Michelle Russell (Gil Rodriguez) of Pigeon Forge; step-children, Rachel (Mike) Webber of Sevierville, Joey Fox of Morristown, and Rebekah (Chris) O’Keefe of Jefferson City; grandchildren, Leanna and Phillip Webber, Jensen Fox, and Olive and Cade O’Keefe; sisters, Joann Jackson and Helen (Jerry) Cole; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4 – 5 p.m. Saturday, March 17 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Gideons. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
