Sanford Elmer Rickard, age 88, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Alice Rickard; son, Ronald Blaine Rickard; brothers, James Rickard and Bill Rickard; and sisters, Aileen Saylor, Marybell Woodard, and Gracie Rickard. He is survived by his daughter, Jean Spence; sons, Donald “Pee Wee” (Joyce) Rickard and Dean (Vicki) Rickard;  very special friend and partner for fifteen years, Betty Kiser; grandchildren, Chris Rickard, Ashley (Alicia) Rickard, Joel (Kendra) Rickard, Matthew Rickard, and Colin Rickard; great-grandchildren, Hunter Rickard, Trevor Rickard, Aubrey Young, Ethan Reagan, Brennan Rickard, and Rowyn Rickard; sister, Shirley McKinney; brother, Lewis Rickard; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Saturday, June 10 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 12 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Bobby Helton and Rev. Larry Seals officiating. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
