Tommy Dennis Henson, age 67, of Morristown, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Faye Henson; parents, Charles Edward and Minnie Louise Henson; granddaughter, Nikki Henson; grandson, Cody Henson; and brother, Charles Henson, Jr. He is survived by his sons, Tommy Henson, Jr. and family and Johnny Henson and family; daughter, Melissa Hopkins and family; brothers, George “Butch” Henson and Ruey Henson; sister, Mary Ann Hoard; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, September 29 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Greene and Rev. Ralph Turner officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, September 30 at Bethesda Cemetery. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
