Wesley "Steve" Steven Ayers

Wesley Steven “Steve” Ayers, age 49, of Morristown, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville. He professed Christ at an early age and was a member of Catherine Nenny Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Johnny Ayers. He is survived by his wife, Melissa “Lisa” Ayers; mother, Gipsy Ayers; sister, Lisa (Jeff) Coffey; brother, Tony Ayers; brother-in-law, James (Angela) Ramsey; nieces, Candace Emery, and Natalie Ramsey; nephews, Joshua Ayers, Joshua Coffey, and Nick Ramsey; great-niece, Lexus Ayers; great-nephews, Seth Ayers and Brady Emery; special friends, Steve and Rhonda Masoner, Shelby Masoner, Morgan Masoner, and Shade Ball; and special furry friends, Abby, Daisy, and Momo. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 24 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. James Ramsey officiating. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, January 28 at Catherine Nenney Baptist Church Cemetery. The ladies of the church will provide dinner for family and friends immediately following.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
