Agnes L. (Moyers) Helton

Agnes L. Helton, age 88, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was a member of Morristown Wesleyan Church and retired from Henrite Manufacturing. She was a loving mother and grandmother who treasured her family, friends, and church family and embraced every moment with them. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Ellis Helton; parents, Herman and Anna Mae Moyers; son, Phillip Helton; daughter, Cheryl Lynn Helton Kirk; and great-granddaughter, Bailey Wicker. She is survived by her son, Curtis Helton; grandchildren, Stanley (Sarah) Williams, Summer Wicker, Jessica (Ryan) Barnes, Stacie (Donald) Hazelwood, Christopher Helton, and Katy Helton; several great-grandchildren; cousin, Dorothy Whitaker; and special friend, Marie Sullivan. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, June 14th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Junior Gardner officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15th at Jarnagin Cemetery for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
