Benny Mayes

Benny Mayes, age 64, of Mooresburg, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019 at his residence. He was of the Church of God faith and was a loving brother and uncle and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Buford Mayes, Sr.; and mother, Wanda Wolfe. He is survived by his sisters, Carolyn (Stanley) Ferrell and Brenda Manis; brother, Carroll Mayes; half-sisters, Sharon Mayes and Penny Bean; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, August 15th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Rocky Everhart officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Friday, August 16th at Bethesda Cemetery for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
