Betty Ann Steading, age 80, of Talbott, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Dominion Assisted Living in Sevierville. She was a resident of Talbott and Morristown for over fifty years and was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She was retired from General Electric. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Steading; sons, Gene Steading and Donnie Steading; brothers, Olin Plumley and Lewis Clinton “L.C.” Plumley; and parents, Connie and Lillie Plumley. She is survived by her grandchildren, LeAnn Steading, Dustin Steading, and Crystal Steading; sister, Allie Belle Huff; nieces, Sheila Meadows, Vickie Comeau, Regina Huff, Linda Kaye Rouse Harper, and Bonnie Brown; and nephews, Ronald Huff, Mitchell Huff, and Barry Plumley. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m. Monday, January 22 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Dr. Larry Parrott officiating. Interment will follow at Hamblen Memory gardens. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
