Bill G. Jones

Billy “Bill” G. Jones, age 71, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System surrounded by his family. Bill served in the U.S. Army, and was Plant Manager of Triangle Pacific in Morristown for several years. He was preceded in death by his wife whom he loved dearly, Betty Jones; parents, Rev. Nelson and Polly Jane Jones; brother, Charles Jones; and sister, Shirley Brasfield. He is survived by sons, Jeff (Lisa) Jones of St. Clair, and Greg (Linda) Jones of Morristown; grandchildren, Jordon (Rachel ) Jones, Jarad (Laiken) Jones, and Kylie Jones; great grandson, Sutton Case Jones; Brother, Dannie (Cindy) Jones of New Tazewell; sister, Betty Sue (Rocky) Hatfield of Harrogate; also several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 21 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Donald Cox and Dannie Jones officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 22 at Southern Cemetery in Gibson Station, Virginia for military graveside services.
