Bill J. McWilliams

Bill J. McWilliams, age 80, of Morristown, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at Jefferson City Health and Rehab Center. He was born in Kentucky on April 25, 1938 and served in the U.S. Navy as an aviation electrician on the USS Roosevelt. He loved his God, his country, and his family and friends. His kindness and love that we shared will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Pauline McWilliams; his beloved step-mother, Reva Elza; brother-in-law, Roger Wood; and mother-in-law, Nannie Long. He is survived by his wife, Linda McWilliams; children, Cathy (Wesley) Adams, Chuck McWilliams, Terri (Steve) Wells, and Donna (Brad) Bailey; sister-in-law, Gail Wood; and Bill was Pa Paw to Luke (Melanie) Adams, Jessica (Scott) Goodman, Stevie, Emily, Alyssa, Ian, Gracie, Caroline, Logan, Jaden, Olivia, Trinity, and Harley. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 13th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Gary Emory and Rev. Luke Curry officiating. Interment will follow at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Wesley Adams, Luke Adams, Brad Bailey, Randall Price, Jim Hawk, and honorary pallbearers, Steve Wells and Scott Goodman. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to St. Jude Hospital or the Shriner’s.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
