Bobby J. Cotter

Bobby J. Cotter, age 75, of Talbott, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Helen Cotter; and granddaughter, Samantha Lamb. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Cotter; daughter, Michelle (Richard) Lamb; grandchildren, Chelsey (Jacob) Courtney and Brittney Lamb; great-grandchildren, Timothy, Ayden, and Colton; brothers and sisters, Frances (Earvin) Purkey, Bill (Sallie) Cotter, Sandra (James) Masengill, Brenda Masengill, and Debbie (Carl) Patterson; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 30 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Brian Cottrell officiating. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31 at Carter Cemetery. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
