Bonnie Jean (Collins) Walker, age 74, of Bean Station, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at her home. She was born on July 24, 1945 to Harlin and Dolly Collins of Thorn Hill, Tennessee. Bonnie was saved at an early age at Oak Hill Baptist Church, where she is still a member. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Don H. Collins, Gene Collins, and John Sherman Collins. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Wayne Walker; children, Richard (Tara) Walker of Bean Station and Stephanie (Eddie) McCubbins of Bean Station; grandchildren, Tyler McCubbins, Sydney McCubbins, and Joshua Walker; siblings, Irene Speigel, Lefty Collins, Peggy Walker, and Dan Collins, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2nd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Scottie Lawson, Rev. Bill Dalton, and Rev. Arnold Dalton officiating and the Dalton family singing. The family, friends, and pallbearers will meet at 9:00 a.m. at Westside Chapel on Saturday, August 3rd for procession to Walker Cemetery in Bean Station for graveside services. The pallbearers will be Donnie Walker, Brandon Walker, Craig Seal, Travis Seal, Terry Walker, and Jonathan Walker. The honorary pallbearers will be Tyler McCubbins, Joshua Walker, Jason Collins, Greg Collins, Randall Seal, and Tanner Keck. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
