Carl "Peanut" Brown, Jr.

Carl “Peanut” Brown, Jr., age 73, of Bean Station, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 at his residence. He was a member of Still Waters Ministry of Bean Station. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Stella Brown; and sisters, Christene Perry and Josephine Parker. He is survived  by his children, Priscilla (Paul) Blankenship, Pam (Robbie) Hodge, and Jimmy Brown, all of Bean Station; grandchildren, Joey Cole, April Chittum, Chelsey Potter, Toby Brown, and Cody Hodge; nine great-grandchildren; and brothers, Jackie (Janette) Brown of New Tazewell, Kenneth (Kathy) Brown of Bean Station, Donald Brown of Mooreburg, and John Brown of Bean Station. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, March 5 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Kathy Lawson and Rev.Clifford Dalton officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 6 at Meek Cemetery in Bean Station for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
