Cecile Geneva (Carpenter) Eidson

Cecile Geneva Carpenter Eidson, age 89, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was a member of Morningstar Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Eidson; parents, Guy and Bessie Carpenter; and brothers and sisters, Ivan, Trula Mae, Helen, Luther, and Robert. She is survived by her children, Margaret “Margie” Young, Daniel Eidson, and Eddie Eidson; grandchildren, Pam (Kevin) Fine, Josh (Tammy) Dalton, and Geneva (Ivan) Beltran; great-grandchildren, Alex Fine, Maggie Hance, Emalaina Beltran, Marcelo Beltran, and Oakley Beltran; sister, Ora Green; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 11 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Clayton Coffey officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 12 at Chinquipin Cemetery in Sneedville.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
