Charles Ray McDaniel, age 73, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Serenity Hospice House. He was a member of White Oak Grove Baptist Church where he had perfect attendance in his Sunday School and he retired from ENKA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie McDaniel, who passed away the day before he did; parents, Elmer and Amanda McDaniel; and brothers, George McDaniel and Junior McDaniel. He is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Foster; grandson, David Foster; great-grandchild, Piper Foster; brother, Jimmy McDaniel; sisters, Betty Sue Towles, Yvonne Spoone, Nettie Faye (Harrell) Lampkins, and Ola Ruth Keller; special friend, Jim Murphy; special nephew, Michael McDaniel; and several other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, November 10 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Double funeral services for him and his wife will follow at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Tom Wells and Rev. John Turner officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 11 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
