Charles “Charlie” D. Raines, age 59, of Morristown, passed away suddenly and peacefully on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at his residence. Charlie was known around Morristown for his life-time of auto body work and will always be remembered for his hard work, love for his family and friends, and his contagious humor. Charlie was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Raines; mother, Stella Raines; brother, C. Daniel Raines; and baby sister, Sherrie Baldwin. He leaves behind his wife of thirty-nine years, Lesha Collins Raines; daughters, Angie C. (Michael) Jarnagin and Rita (Jeff) Maples; son, Timothy C. (Ray Ann) Raines; his loving grandchildren, Micah and Ashton Jarnagin, Austin and Dale Wilson, Zach Coffey, Willow Grace Raines, Memphis, Kayslin, and Laylan Fox, and Rachel and Katie Maples; he is also survived by his sisters, Linda Kirkpatrick and Shirley (Bobby) Ivy; brothers, Marvin D. Raines and Lynn (Evelyn) Raines; brothers-in-law, Tomey Baldwin, Mack “Butch” Collins, and Danny R. Collins; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday, November 4 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev.
