Dorothy M. Erwin, age 96, of Tobias, Nebraska, presently residing in Morristown, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Heritage Center. She was a member of United Methodist Church of Dunkirk, Ohio. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed. Dorothy loved flower gardening, dancing, traveling, playing cards, and cooking. She was a clerk on the Bruning Air Base in Nebraska in the 1940’s and was a homemaker for the remainder of her adult life. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-one years, Robert Eugene Erwin; son, Robert Bruce Erwin and wife Tara; parents, James and Anna Oliva; sisters, Anne, Marie, Sylvia, and Bessie; and brothers, Frankie, Milo, Ed, Jim, John, and Joe. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Wayne) Lucas; son, Ronald (Elaine) Erwin; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m. Friday, January 10th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. with Dr. Emmett Manley officiating.
