Elmer Dale Trent

Elmer Dale Trent, age 94, of Bulls Gap, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 at his residence. He was retired from American ENKA after thirty-five years. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Wilder Trent; second wife, Georgia Lee Trent; parents, Matthew Milum and Laura Alice Trent; sons, Ken and Ricky Trent; daughter, Cynthia Trent; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughters, Patricia (Gerald) Winstead of South Carolina, Sheila Dalton, and Sandra Dalton; sons, Roger Trent and Robert Trent; step-son, Carl (Grace) Long of Whitesburg; sister, Essie Livesay; sixteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 10th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Roger Trent officiating. Burial will be at Otis Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery in Bulls Gap. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
