Frank Lewis Obituary

Frank Bishop Lewis, age 81, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at his residence. He was a member of White Pine Church of God and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Frank retired from Lear Seating and was an excellent craftsman. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy C. Lewis; parents, Elmer and Anna Lewis; daughter, Leona Henson; brother, Roy Lewis; and sister, Mary Perry. He is survived by his sons, Blaine (Vicki) Lewis of Taylors, SC, Gordon (Kathy) Lewis of Greer, SC, and Gilbert (Sonya) Lewis of Simpsonville, SC; daughter, Shannon (Brian) Witt of White Pine; brother, Wayne Lewis; sisters, Madeline Humphrey, Pauline Slade, and Sue Roden; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Suncrest Hospice and Jenny Roark for their special care given to Frank and the family. The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Sam Youngblood, Pastor Larry Frazier, and Rev. Blaine Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to White Pine Church of God. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
