Glenda C. (McKinney) Hensley

Glenda C. Hensley, age 69, of Talbott, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, July 27, 2018 after a long illness. Glenda was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Norma McKinney; sisters, Phyllis “Pete” Smith and Patricia Dickerson-Musser; nephews, Travis Shults and Brad Campbell; father-in-law, Leon Hensley; and brothers-in-law, Rick Hensley and Jerry Shults. Glenda is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Doug Hensley; sons, Brian (Connie) Hazelwood and Donald (Stacie) Hazelwood; daughters, Cindy (Sean) Anderson and Wendy (Joe) Payne; grandchildren, Mindy (Dee Andino) Hazelwood, Tyler Watterson, Emily (Hector Nieva) Murray, Chase Yuhl, Jakob Hazelwood, Montana Hazelwood, Colton Hazelwood, Drew Anderson, Tori Hazelwood, Cheyenne Hazelwood, Jordyn Anderson, and Aspen Hazelwood; great-grandchildren, Jocelin Murray, Gabi, Nadia, and Briana Nieva, and Laressa and Jaden Andino; sisters, LaVonda Knight and Joyce “Jodi” Shults; special great-niece, Brianna Knight; mother-in-law, Janna Collier; brothers-in-law, Roger (Linda) Hensley and Darren Ball; special friends, Tommy and Debbie McKinney; and special cousin, Jerry May. At Glenda’s request, there will be no scheduled visitation. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 30 at Economy Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Jones officiating. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
