Herman G. Fender

Herman G. Fender, age 93, of Talbott, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018 at Erwin Healthcare Center. He was a member of Talbott Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a retired Roadway Truck Driver. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-eight years, Luster Fender; parents, Charlie and Senie Tolley Fender; and brothers, Grady Fender and Jack Fender. He is survived by his daughter, Dianna (Chuck) Pearson of Talbott; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, August 27 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Mike Henegar and Rev. Dayton Lewis officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 28 at Glenwood/Shelby Hills Cemetery in Bristol for military graveside services.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
